This statement explains how Kontali Analyse AS processes your personal data when you use Kontali Edge as a registered user.
The data controller responsible for the treatment of your personal information is Kontali Analyse AS.
The contact information of Kontali Analyse AS is:

For any questions about our processing of your personal information, please contact us.
1. What we collect, and why
We collect the information below directly as part of running your Edge account.
a) Account data
Name, e-mail address, phone number, and company affiliation — so we can set up and manage your account, communicate with you, and handle billing.
b) Usage data
We record usage of Edge and its features — for example, logins, feature usage, exports and API calls — to monitor and protect against use that falls outside the terms of the subscription agreement with your organisation.
c) AI Assistant data
When you use an Edge AI Assistant, each conversation is linked to your user account. We use this to:
- store your conversation history, so the Assistant can use it as context in later sessions and so you can look back on past conversations;
- track your usage against the Assistant's monthly usage limit, both for you personally and for your organisation as a whole; and
- improve the quality of the Assistant's answers over time. Our team may review conversations internally for this purpose.
We don't sell this data or share it with third parties, except as described in this policy.
2. Where your data is processed
We use external service providers to help deliver Edge. Where any of these providers are located outside the EU/EEA, we put appropriate safeguards in place (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) before any data is transferred.
3. Sharing of personal information with others
We don't pass on your personal information to others unless there's a legal basis for it — for example, your consent, a requirement to fulfil our agreement with you, or a legal obligation. Service providers we use act only on our instructions and under agreements that protect your information.
4. Storage and retention
We store your personal information for as long as necessary to maintain the purpose for which it was collected — including, for example, ongoing business records and reporting after your subscription ends.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can also ask us to limit our processing, object to it, or provide your data in a portable format.
In some cases, fulfilling a request might affect your organisation's subscription as a whole — for example, where the information is part of what we use to track or manage shared usage limits. In those cases, we may need to check with your organisation before completing your request.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We'll respond as soon as possible, and within 30 days at the latest. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
6. Complaints
If you think our processing doesn't match what's described here, or otherwise breaches privacy law, you can complain to Datatilsynet (the Norwegian Data Protection Authority), or to your own country's data protection authority if you're located elsewhere in the EU/EEA. Details for Datatilsynet at www.datatilsynet.no.
Cookies
Edge uses a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and identify your account and organisation while you use the platform. These are strictly necessary for Edge to work, and we don't use them for advertising or tracking.
